About Me

I'm currently attending Grand Valley State University, majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Digital Studies. My passion for art began in high school, and over time, that evolved into a love for graphic design, a field that allows me to combine creativity and technology to bring ideas to life.

Whether working on branding, print media, or web design, I strive to create thoughtful work that connects with people. As well as learn, collaborate, and push the boundaries of my abilities.

  • Currently I work at Institute of Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) under the communications team. Here, I design and produce fact sheets, presentations, and social media content to support reports and public releases. I create clear, engaging data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to make complex information accessible and easy to understand. As well as working closely with analysts and other comms members to help translate research findings into graphics that enhance clarity, usability, and overall impact.

  • At the Lanthorn, my primary responsibility was designing advertisements for clients who wanted to appear in the paper, ensuring each ad aligned with their brand while also fitting within the publication’s layout. During the end of every semester, I also developed templates and page layouts for the graduates section.

  • A stepping stone for my graphic design career, here I designed more than 50 digital and print assets, including website and email graphics, in-store signage, and advertisements, used across campus retail locations. Developed on-brand visuals to support seasonal promotions and product launches, helping boost in-store visibility and customer engagement. As well as managed advertisement printing processes and collaborated with the other designers and photographers on a variety of projects.

Skills

I’m a versatile graphic designer with strong skills in industry standard tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Figma, and Canva. Additionally, I'm always open to learning new softwares to keep up with the lastest things happening in the design world.
To help you get to know me a little more personally, here are a few fun facts about me! I love to travel. In 2023, I had the opportunity to study abroad in London for five weeks. It was an incredible experience where I learned so much about art and culture. I also met some amazing friends there who I still keep in touch with today. In the future, I hope to continue exploring the world, because that experience was truly irreplaceable for me.

Fun Facts

Another fun fact about me is that I love cats. I grew up with a family cat, which is probably where my bias comes from, so I can't help but love them. Right now I live with two cats owned by my roommates who are absolutely the cutest and the greatest little roommates.
